Hello, Thank you for getting in touch with Diageo regarding Guinness Draught. Guinness Draught (canned, bottled and on tap) is now produced using a new filtration process that does not involve any animal-derived agents. The product is suitable for vegans. This change was made in late 2017 — prior to that date, isinglass (a fish-derived fining agent) was used during the clarification stage. Please note that some Guinness variants brewed in other markets may still use traditional methods — we'd always advise checking the label for local production. If you have any further questions about Diageo brands, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Kind regards, Niamh O'Brien Consumer Affairs Diageo Ireland
